"An advantage of the site is there are not a lot of people that would object to seeing wind mills there," Schaub said, because there are not a lot of people that live in the area.

River Rats in accident: On travel and sports (Updated)

ALBANY â€' In the tens of hundreds of thousands of miles that Albany River Rats coach Jeff Daniels has logged in the minors, juniors and even the NHL, he's never been thrown into the lap of a bus driver.

It's a big wake-up call walking away from that bus and realize how close you were to not walking off the bus.''

The ride back from Lowell proved problematic from the start; their first bus broke down about 20 minutes outside the city, and the team had to wait for a replacement.

not surprised by the accident I was on that stretch of I-90 2-3 hours earlier and couldn't figure out why no plows were salting or plowing the road failry steep elevation changes in that area so if the driver had to over correct (which I had to do several times) he would go off the road very lucky

Those killed were the "extras" of the program - a couple of players from the end of the bench, low-level assistant coaches (my cousin's son was the Director of Basketball Operations), some media, etc.

Without saying a word, did Nick Saban just answer Lane Kiffin? - The ...

I wouldn't be surprised if there are actually any other good recruits coming from UT - Saban may be personally setting an agenda to get those players to Bama ---- The iceberg hitting the Vols will be the 3rd Saturday in October, but the actual sinking of the ship will come after next years recruiting class when the top players from TN will be on the Bama boards.

As far as the part about having a heart & a conscience, if the implication is that little Nicky so-called Satan, has niether, try brainwashing yourself a little better, the man started a Foundation to raise money for scholarships for children who come families who have never had a member have the opportunity to go to college & gave $1 million of his first year's salary as it's first contribution & that's just a small drop in the bucket of the charitible work he's involved in & I'd be willing to bet more than you will ever do to help empower those who are less fortunate than you are.

Or the Alabama legislature does like they did when Bear hit 70 or 71 & was controlled by Republicans, in those days Auburn was & still is loyal to "the farmers party" aka the Republican party & had just gained control of the legislature for the first time sine Reconstruction & used legislation to force Bryant to retire (since they had difficulty defeating his teams on the football field.

Course, that's got a lot of people, as my next door neighbor in Atlanta who is a cameraman, mostly for SEC sports & the Braves says, over in "the loveliest little village on the plains to fly over" sick because they realize now, or are beginnig to, that he has a goal that will require him to stay in T-town to be able to accomplish it & that their tried excuse that he'll be leaving to go somwhere is will no longer gonna fly.
